I specialize in preparing women for physiologic birth.

I have supported families in the Columbia River Gorge in having empowered, joyful births, since 2018.

I believe:

that birth can be challenging AND enjoyable! Birth is a normal, natural, and spontaneous process. It is not inherently traumatic, or dangerous — any more than life itself is. You can learn to meet birth’s challenges, with joy — and I’ll show you how

Camille was so wonderful to work with! She helped my wife and I prepare for the arrival of our daughter, was present every moment during the birth, and was an amazing resource throughout postpartum. Camille is like the Mary Poppins of birth in the very best way possible, though her communication is far sweeter than the famed nanny. But, she does have the bottomless basket and the magic touch! Camille is warm, unflappable, brave, intuitive and adept at non-violent but assertive communication. She will hold space for your desires while winning over the hospital staff and creating a chill and positive environment. Being guided to assert my wishes, needs and desires during birth will serve me for years to come. I also used a breathing technique she taught me during my birth. This is my third unmedicated birth; even if you are an experienced mama you can still learn new techniques and info from Camille and her colleagues…I’d also recommend without hesitation anyone Camille brings onto her team because she is so intentional about everything she does. The attention to detail really made me feel safe and comfortable. She is up on all the very latest information about pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Whatever your wishes for birth, she will do everything in her power to support them. If things go a different way, she will still sprinkle some magic into the atmosphere. I will end with a quote from my husband about active labor: “you kept telling me to get away, you wanted Camille”!!

We are so thankful we found Camille for our birth journey. This was our second baby - we wanted a physiologic homebirth and Camille seemed like the perfect fit. Her knowledge depth in the physiologic space was so impressive - despite being our second baby, we learned a lot from Camille. Her prenatal process is very thorough and thoughtful. We were particularly impressed with her focus on patient advocacy through education, birth plans, and her explanation of how she would stand up for our intentions had we needed a hospital transfer. Day of, my labor was quick an easy and Camille held space, let us be, and took a beautiful video as we had requested. We also used her sibling doula, Emma, for our 2.5 year old daughter. She was incredibly talented at capturing our toddlers attention, super patient and sweet. We would have her care for our babies ANY time! The sibling doula service and support Camille offered took all of the stress of managing childcare during homebirth off of my husband. We also used Camille for postpartum care and she was so gentle and thoughtful. Small touches like beautifully made plates of food, flowers (she grew!), tinctures, and bone broth made me as a postpartum mom feel so comforted and cared for. I would highly recommend Camille, we loved working with her, and are so appreciative of how much she cares for her work and the families she supports!

I am a first-time mother, and dreamed of an empowered pregnancy and birth. I contacted Camille about a month before my due date. I was so happy she was still accepting clients. She helped prepare my body a mind for labor and guided my husband and I through deeper communication and expectations for labor. The affirmation work and her in-depth birth plan, along with custom research based on my interest allowed me immense insight into physiological birth. I felt so ready and confident as I waited for labor. Camille was available early in the morning via text and call and then arrived at my house and supported me and my husband as I labored at home. She blended into our home so comfortably and made me feel at ease to be in and out of my labor. She helped us decided when to go to the hospital. At the hospital Camille was an avid advocate. When hospitals staff misaligned with my birth intentions Camille was there to elaborate, educate and guide. I ended up needing to push against medical advice and Camille create a safe space for me to listen to my body. After 28 hours of unmedicated labor I gave birth to my baby. My birth would not have been the same without the support of Camille. She allowed me to achieve my goals of having an unmedicated birth. Not to mention the teas and salves she curates for postpartum.

Camille was very helpful to my wife and I during pregnancy and birth. During pregnancy she helped answer questions about what to expect, and how to have the best pregnancy possible. She helped us make a birth plan and was prepared with informational material. During labor, Camille's assistance helped me to rest a bit, knowing my wife was not alone, and she was particularly helpful to my wife when she went into transition, suggesting a mindset change and shower which helped at a critical moment. Camille also did a great job helping us to interface with the medical professionals and make sure everything possible happened as we desired (i.e. cord clamping, skin to skin, minimal interventions and quiet peaceful environment). My wife and I both highly recommend Camille as a competent, compassionate and knowledgeable Doula if you are looking for someone to help assist with your pregnancy and birth.

Our daughter was born on July 29th... at 5:13 A.M. After but 4 and a half hours of heavy labor... along side my amazing wife and son, we were joined by Camille in a serene and near indescribable moment in time. As majestic as all the Gods and Goddesses in all of history communing together in a woman's power and bringing new life into the world. As a father... my desire for our home birth is probably like most... one of slight concern but also trust... I had want of nothing but the safety of my wife and unborn child in my heart.
